Kevin Geary joined How I Decide in 2018, after a career that has spanned corporate communications, education, government and politics. In his role he leads the foundation’s efforts to expand the national conversation to help make decision education an important part of youth education in the 21st century.
A veteran of Presidential, statewide and local campaigns across the country, Kevin has helped elect 4 Governors, 2 U.S. Senators, over 35 members of Congress and hundreds of officials at the local level. He served as Chief of External Relations for the School District of Philadelphia. There he helped secure over $550 million in new state funding for Philadelphia’s public schools, directed marketing efforts to hire over 1,000 new teachers, and helped oversee a dramatic transformation in perception of the School District of Philadelphia.
A native of Bedford, Massachusetts and a graduate of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Kevin and his wife Renae are the proud parents of three young boys. When not traveling from one hockey rink to another on weekends for his boys, Kevin is trying to get out on the golf course or follow his Boston sports teams.
